File This Under: I’m Booked That Day. Style Summit returns in March.

In his book The Tipping Point, Malcom Gladwell has a term for individuals with a special gift for bringing the world together. They are Connectors. These are people who actively listen and remember important details about who they meet. When asked a question Connections might respond with; “oh, I have a friend doing that you should really meet them and this amazing person I met over coffee last week.”

As a blogger these are the people you dream about meeting because when building a platform from scratch it is impossible to do it alone. Shortly after launching my blog I had the good fortune of being asked to coffee by Seattle’s resident Connector extraordinaire Sydney Mintle. After learning where I wanted to take my brand she introduced me to an amazing community from whom I was able to learn and eventually collaborate with. So, when I say that you need to get your tickets to Sydney’s upcoming Style Summit I am not over exaggerating. The woman knows a thing or two about deepening relationships and building a business.

The well-heeled owner of the fashion PR firm Gossip & Glamour is hosting the second annual blogger event on Saturday, March 25th at the Thompson Hotel. Style Summit is designed exclusively for fashion bloggers who want to take their platform to the next level. The half-day event features a exciting opportunities to learn from the best; from panels with Pacific Northwest girl bosses Moorea Seal and Jess Estrada to a keynote by Alan Gertner of Tokyo Smoke.
