Tara & Steve’s Glamorous NYE Ballroom Wedding

When you think of New Year’s Eve images of champagne fountains and friends huddled together watching fireworks should come to mind. On the other hand, you might be haunted by past memories of overpriced cocktails and exceptionally long lines. A New Year’s Eve wedding is the perfect cure; an opportunity to ring in the year at a party that everyone is looking forward to. And, cue my event designer enthusiasm, you have that much more of a reason to create an experience that is extra splashy in a way that is both festive and celebratory. Tara and Steve’s wedding at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel was truly joy to be a part of and the couple could not be sweeter (or more handsome!). Holly with Seattle-based Perfectly Posh Events pulled the entire evening together capturing the couple’s elegant aesthetic and taste.

Some of my favorite details included gold accented chargers and English-style crackers while the family’s adorable French Bulldog even made an appearance. Crimson Haze installed a lighting chase flooding the entire Spanish Ballroom with cascading multicolored hues to cap off the evening at midnight.
